Greetings

1.How do you greet people in your life?
When I meet people for the first time, I say "ohayougozaimasu" and bow. I show honor to them.

2.Is it different for different people? How so and why?
Yes, It is different culture and custom for the country. So, it was decided by several country.


3.Do you touch people when you talk to then? Why? or why not?
No, I often make a gesture, but I don' t touch people. If the listener doesn't hear my talk, I may touch you.

    I agree that if I need attention of listeners, I may tap his or her shoulder. We always have to be polite, especially to older people, don't we?

  5. I agree with some of your opinions, but I can't agree to touch someone if they don't listen to my speaking.
    If they don't listen to me, I just say "Are you listening to me?"
    But I agree with you to say "ohayougozaimasu" when we see people first time in one day.
    Don't you think it is strange to say "ohayougozaimasu" even if it is noon.
